1. What is bronze made from?

 

ANSWER: 9 parts of copper and 1 part of tin

 

2. Bronze turns green in the ground and doesn’t rust.  Why is this better than Iron for archaeologists?

 

ANSWER: Because a lot of iron items rust away while Bronze doesn’t.

 

3. Why do you think it was made hollow instead of solid?

 

ANSWER: To save metal as Bronze was very expensive.
