Our Roman Britain artefacts box is based around the character of an Auxiliary soldier serving on Hadrian's wall shortly after its construction in AD 122 at a time when an actual auxilliary cohort was known to be based on the wall.

 

Items such as the chainmail and diploma directly relate to the character, and can be used alongside all of these free Romans teaching resources to add more depth to the activities and to raise pupils' enthusiasm.
